15 International PhD scholarships in Intelligent Computing

Systems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences, Institute of Computer Science, Polish Academy of Sciences, Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science, Warsaw University of Technology are launching International PhD Projects in Intelligent Computing financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Programme Innovative Economy, operated by Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) in the framework of the International PhD Projects Programme (MPD).
Job description: The participants will carry out one of the proposed 15 research projects in the area of Intelligent Computing under supervision of leading experts from Poland and several other countries. Scholarships shall be paid to the participants, who will spend at least 6 months with partners in Europe and beyond.
Intelligent Computing is a true high-tech trend of computer science. It provides methods and tools for building complex learning systems, able to adapt and evolve, and to act in an intelligent way, so far reserved for human beings. Our programme, carried out by the consortium of 3 Polish and 16 research institutions from all around the world, provides PhD students with a unique opportunity to conduct research under the supervision of leading scientists, preparing their PhD dissertations in one of the most innovative fields of science. The project will result in both new theoretical findings and novel applications in multi-agent technologies, data analysis and mining, decision support systems and other fields.
